HEALTH AWARDS
placed under the patronage of the Health Minister,
the Labour Minister and the Education Minister

The Health and Enterprise Award was created in 1985 to which was added the Health at School Award in 2001.
Both Awards aim at rewarding original undertakings related to PREVENTION which are due to be made effective at the very working place where they were devised, e.g. companies, schools, hospitals, local and national collectivities and administrations.
These actions must contribute to indviduals’, families’ and the collectivity’s global health improvement.

The Health and Enterprise Award met at once great success, enabling its extension to a certain number of other European countries.

The Health and Enterprise Award is granted every year at a ceremony which takes place in one of the different European member countries. The ceremony is attended by each one of the Club’s national sections who then proceed to their own national award granting.

The Health and Enterprise Award has enabled the spread of a multidisciplinary network with a view to promote experience sharing of prevention actions, thus contributing to the development of a European health oriented attitude.
